Ōmukade (大百足, おおむかで, "Big centipede"), or simply known as centipede yōkai, are one of the larger and vicious demon species. There are many of them in the series, but a notable mention is Mistress Centipede. Some of the monsters that Inuyasha's group encountered are also ōmukade.
