The Wielder of Dakki is the 388th chapter of the InuYasha manga.

Synopsis[]

Summary[]

  • Ryūjin again warns Tōshū: give up Dakki or die. Inuyasha holds Ryūjin off from entering the hut, and tells Tōshū he better not come out. Frightened, Tōshū says he doesn't care about his life, Ryūjin just isn't worthy of wielding the blade, because "Dakki itself says so!". Tōshū tells Inuyasha that since Ryūjin had to remove one of his scales to give to him to forge Dakki, there must be one place on his body without a scale: that would be his weak spot!
  • Inuyasha looks for Ryūjin's weak spot to no avail. He uses the Windscar again, but Kagome reminds him that he shouldn't use it because his power just gets absorbed by Ryūjin's shield. However Inuyasha doesn't aim his attack at Ryūjin, but at the earth beneath Ryūjin's feet, causing him to tumble over. Enraged, Ryūjin's shield powers up, turning a fiery red, shooting the power of Inuyasha's Windscar back at him. Inuyasha smirks and uses the Bakuryūha, reversing the attack back at Ryūjin and destroying him, shield and all. Ryūjin's final words are that he truly never wanted a sword, not until he met Tōshū.
  • Suddenly Tōshū appears and stabs Ryūjin with Dakki, absorbing Ryūjin's demonic power into the blade. With an insane look on his face he proclaims "Dakki is now complete!"
