The Stolen Kongōsōha is the 403rd chapter of the InuYasha manga.

  • Inuyasha attacks Meiōjū with Kongōsōha, seemingly killing the turtle yōkai, but Meiōjū's corpse suddenly flies off toward the sky. Miroku opens his Kazaana and Byakuya smugly remarks that the monk must have figured it out. Miroku attempts to suck Meiōjū's body back down, but Mōryōmaru's voice speaks out from the darkness: "Heh heh heh. You're too late..." and Byakuya says now Mōryōmaru will have both Meiōjū's armor 'and' Inuyasha's diamond spears. The piece of Mōryōmaru's flesh attached to Meiōjū absorbs the entire body, and disappears into a cloud of miasma, escaping. Miroku blames himself for not realizing Mōryōmaru's intentions sooner. He says that now Mōryōmaru has impenetrable armor, and a perfect weapon: Inuyasha's Kongōsōha.
  • Sesshōmaru pursues Meiōjū's body, hoping it will lead to Mōryōmaru. Byakuya watches from nearby, when he gets a message from the Saimyōshō telling him to help Mōryōmaru escape. Byakuya thinks to himself he isn't too keen to incite Sesshōmaru's wrath. Byakuya creates origami puppets to distract Sesshōmaru, forcing the Dog yōkai to fight them off, allowing Mōryōmaru to escape. Byakuya tells Sesshōmaru to not be mad, they'll meet again soon, and then disappears.
  • At a nearby mountain crater, Mōryōmaru is in many pieces, as the corpse of Meiōjū, along with Inuyasha's diamong spears, fly toward him. The Infant tells him to "Eat it, and become my precious, invincible armor..."
  • Miasma leaks down from the mountain and kills much flora and fauna at the mountain's base. Kohaku, traveling with Kikyō, remarks that it's horrible. He wonders if Mōryōmaru is the cause. Kikyō and Kohaku set off toward the source of the miasma.
