Chokyūkai's wives were the human women that the yōkai Chokyūkai abducted to marry them. All of them were young women that were unmarried. Chokyūkai would use one of his tiaras on any woman he found attractive, and they would instantly fall in love with him once they wore it. He would keep all of his wives at his palace.
History[]
After Chokyūkai was freed from his seal, he started abducting young human women to become his wives. Inuyasha and his friends where asked by Kisuke to rescue the women that Chokyūkai abducted.
When they confronted him, he took an immediate interest in Kagome since she knew of his ancestor's story. He used one of his tiaras on her and brought her back with him to his palace. Inuyasha and the others were able to rescue Kagome and the other women from Chokyūkai's palace and they were no longer his brides.
As Inuyasha and the others escorted the women back to their village, Miroku asked them if they would bear his children. They were immediately put off by his proposal and compared him to Chokyūkai (even going so far as to suspect that he was a yōkai as well). Kisuke then met up with them, and all of the women suddenly ran up to him in delight.
