In Kaede's hut, Towa is sitting down as she watches Setsuna sleep. Towa says it's been two days now and she wonders if Setsuna will wake up and she wasn't able to sleep because of the Dream Butterfly so she guesses it can't be helped. Kaede appears from outside and asks Towa could she come out for a moment. Towa complies with Kaede. Towa says she hopes Setsuna is having sweet dreams before she stands up and leaves with Kaede. Outside, Kaede tells Towa that yesterday a field in a neighboring village was ruined and it might be the work of an apparition. Towa tells Kaede that she got it as she'll head over there. Inside Kaede's hut, ninjas appeared and kidnap the deep slumbering Setsuna. Inside the mansion, Setsuna finally wakes up and looks to see Aiya dressed in commoner clothing. Aiya tells Setsuna that she's finally awake. Setsuna realizes that she's Princess Aiya and wonders where she was. Aiya tells Setsuna that as she can see she's in her mansion. Setsuna notices that she's dressed in Aiya's clothes and asks why is she in a kimono. Aiya tells Setsuna that she thinks she looks quite nice as she holds up a mirror for her to see. Setsuna becomes annoyed as she stands up and asks Aiya that she dressed her in these as it's ridiculous. Aiya tells Setsuna to not make a fuss as she signals to be quiet. Setsuna demands Aiya to give her back her clothes as she's leaving then tries to take off the kimono. Aiya stops Setsuna and tells her at the very least listen to what she has to say then starts to cry. Setsuna becomes dazed at Aiya. Setsuna becomes confused and asks Aiya that she wants her to take her lessons for her. After awhile, Setsuna and Aiya sit down as Aiya explains the situation. Aiya tells Setsuna that luckily not only are they around the same height and age but the nun who is coming today as her etiquette instructor still hasn't met her in person and in other words she is the perfect substitute. Setsuna stands up and tells Aiya that she refuses. Aiya grabs onto Setsuna and tearfully tells her to let her finish what she has to say. Setsuna becomes confused. Aiya tearfully tells Setsuna being a princess may seem elegant but it's quite miserable as they're nothing more than a tool for a marriage of convenience. Setsuna questions Aiya about a tool for a marriage of convenience. Aiya tells Setsuna from the time princesses are little until they are married they are forced to learn about the rituals and traditions of a samurai family and many other types of lessons all so they can be married off to some lord whom they've never met and from the moment she was born she never had a shred of freedom and what a miserable life she had. Aiya bows to Setsuna and tearfully tells her that she's asking her to do this for her just one day as she's begging her. Setsuna becomes nervous and sad. Later, Aiya is outside being carried in a kago by her servants. Aiya comes out of the kago and says she did it as she's free from her detestable academic and etiquette lessons and the bothersome instructor. One of the servants tells Aiya that she must not show her face here as people will recognize her. Aiya tells the servant that she just couldn't help herself. One of the servants asks Aiya where to. Aiya says the harbor. One of the servants questions Aiya about the harbor. Aiya says she heard a rumor that something interesting shows up there and she'd love to see it in person and she just can't wait. At the estate, Setsuna sits quietly as the door opens. Hisui tells Setsuna that he's pleased to meet her and introduces himself as Kin'u her etiquette instructor for today before he sits down. Setsuna introduces herself as Aiya to Hisui. Hisui and Setsuna become shocked to see each other in different clothing. Setsuna calls out to Hisui in confusion. Hisui calls out to Setsuna in confusion. Setsuna explains her situation to Hisui. Hisui tells Setsuna that he sees as Aiya had her completely duped. Setsuna tells Hisui that she knew it as she was a fool for feeling any sympathy about Aiya's circumstances. Hisui tells Setsuna that he never expected to hear her talk about sympathy and being with Towa has changed her. Setsuna tells Hisui it's not like that and wonders what was he doing here. Hisui tells Setsuna that his sister forced this one on him. Setsuna questions Hisui about his sister wonders is it the one who makes equipment for the demon slayers as she remembers Gyokuto. Hisui tells Setsuna that it's not Gyokuto but Kin'u as his sisters are twins. In a flashback, Hisui is sitting in a hut as he pets Kirara when Kin'u appears. Kin'u tells Hisui that it's been a while and wonders how has he been. Hisui calls out to Kin'u. Kin'u tells Hisui that he seems quite busy with grooming Kirara. Hisui becomes nervous and asks Kin'u why has she come all the way here. Kin'u tells Hisui that she has a small favor to ask of him but he seems so busy with that grooming and she wonders what she should do. Hisui sighs and asks Kin'u what does she want him to do. Kin'u becomes happy and questions Hisui that he'll do it as she's so happy. Hisui tells Setsuna that Kin'u accepted a large payment from Ogigayatsu Hiiragi but is making him do all the work because she has other matters to attend to. Setsuna questions Hisui about others matters. Hisui tells Setsuna that he doubts if Kin'u even has other matters to attend to and perhaps she is having fun and spending that large advance she received right about now. In a village, Kin'u and Gyokuto are walking through it as they deliver demon slayer items to a Northern Demon Slayer leader. Kin'u waits outside a mansion. Inside the mansion, Gyokuto gives the Northern Demon Slayer leader the demon slayer weapon. Gyokuto tells the Northern Demon Slayer leader that here is the weapon he asked for. The Northern Demon Slayer leader tells Gyokuto sorry for all of the trouble. Gyokuto tells the Northern Demon Slayer leader not at all as they look forward to serving him again. The Northern Demon Slayer leader tells Gyokuto that reminds him as there's a job he'd like Kohaku to handle. Gyokuto becomes surprised. At the estate, Hisui tells Setsuna that honestly Kin'u's smooth-talking ways are just like Miroku's. Setsuna questions Hisui about Miroku. Hisui confirms this with Setsuna and tells her that Miroku, Kin'u, and even Sango are not the easiest people to deal with. Hisui and Setsuna hear a noise. Hisui tells Setsuna that someone's coming. Ogigayatsu Hiiragi opens the door slightly and peeks in to see 'Kin' teaching 'Aiya'. Hisui tells Setsuna now then let's start off with tanka poetry. Setsuna asks Hisui that he expects her to compose a waka poem. Hisui confirms this with Setsuna and tells her that education is crucial for a princess even in a time of war like this as she is expected to be versed in etiquette, poetry, and the tea ceremony. Setsuna becomes nervous. Ogigayatsu Hiiragi closes the door and walks away. Ogigayatsu Hiiragi says he's had many etiquette instructors try to teach Aiya but he has a good feeling about this one as it was worth paying Kin'u's enormous fee as he continues to walk away. Hisui and Setsuna sigh in relief. Hisui tells Setsuna now that she had readied the ink he would like her to compose a poem as he calls her 'princess'. Setsuna tells Hisui that Ogigayatsu Hiiragi already left as there's no need for that. Hisui tells Setsuna that he was asked to be her etiquette instructor. Setsuna tells Hisui that she's never composed a waka poem before. Hisui tells Setsuna that composing a waka poem is not about talent or education but what comes from your heart however it is difficult to become skilled at it without practice as those are the words of Fujiwara no Tameie but before she tries composing one let's read a few to familiarize herself. In Kaede's hut, Towa appears in and says she's back. Towa looks around and doesn't see Setsuna then realizes that she's gone. Towa goes outside and repeatedly calls out to Setsuna. Kaede appears and asks Towa what's the matter. Towa tells Kaede that Setsuna has disappeared. Kaede tells Towa perhaps Setsuna went out for a walk and there's no need to be so worried. Towa calls out to Setsuna. At the estate, Setsuna finishes reading. Setsuna tells Hisui that she's read it. Hisui tells Setsuna well done. Setsuna asks Hisui why go this far. Hisui tells Setsuna that it doesn't hurt to do this once in a while as Miroku and Sango used to tell him all the time to never neglect one's education and cultural enrichment. Setsuna asks Hisui that Miroku said that. Hisui confirms this with Setsuna and tells her despite the way Miroku is now he made sure he was properly educated and figuring he would become a monk just like him as he did his best to learn what he could. In a flashback at Miroku and Sango's old house, Miroku is teaching a young Hisui education. Setsuna asks Hisui why didn't he become a Buddhist monk and follow in Miroku's footsteps. Hisui tells Setsuna that because Kin'u did before he could and furthermore Gyokuto took over Sango's workshop before long he realized he had nowhere to go and he felt as if he had lost his path in life but Kohaku was the one who helped him out of it. In a flashback, Hisui watches Kohaku battle a Longhorn Beetle with Kirara in the forest. Kohaku dodges the Longhorn Beetle's attack. Hisui starts to move away when the Longhorn Beetle comes toward him before he lands on the ground. The Longhorn Beetle notices Hisui before it goes to attack him. Kohaku calls out to Hisui as he and Kirara rush to save him. The Longhorn Beetle traps Hisui and tries to attack him. Kohaku attacks the Longhorn Beetle with his kusarigama, knocking it down. Kohaku lands in front of Hisui. Kohaku asks Hisui was he all right. Hisui tells Kohaku sorry. Kohaku tells Hisui to take cover. Hisui stands up and moves away. The Longhorn Beetle stands up before it runs towards Kohaku. Kohaku gets on Kirara as he charges towards the Longhorn Beetle. The Longhorn Beetle and Kohaku attack each other as Kohaku receives a small scar running across his nose. Hisui calls out to Kohaku as he watches from some bushes. The Longhorn Beetle falls dead as it was slashed from the throat. Hisui tells Setsuna that Kohaku didn't give up and even though his face was scarred he kept on fighting for the villagers who were troubled by the Longhorn Beetle and upon seeing Kohaku's honorable actions he had a deep desire to follow him. Setsuna tells Hisui that's why he became a demon slayer. Hisui confirms this with Setsuna and tells her quite honestly he thinks it was a good for him to be away from his family and if he had remained with them then they would have continued to treat him as the baby of the family but grateful as he is family can be a nuisance. Setsuna asks Hisui it that how it is as she doesn't really know what family is like. Hisui and Setsuna hears a servant runs towards the room. Hisui tells Setsuna that someone else is coming. A servant enters and says to help them as a demon has captured Aiya. Hisui and Setsuna become surprised. In the village, Towa continues to search for Setsuna and wonders where was she. Towa stops on a bridge and calls out to Setsuna. Towa says that Moroha is being herself too as she can't believe she'd be bounty hunting at a time like this. In a cave, a group of demons run away as they say run for it as it's Moroha the Demon Killer. Moroha follows the group of demons and tells them to hold on a second. Moroha stops and says just when she finally got her debt down to 1 ryou and wonders what is going on here.
At the estate, Hisui tells Setsuna that it's unbelievable and wonders Aiya went to go see a demon only to get herself captured as he's dressed in his clothes. Hisui dresses up a mannequin of himself and tells Setsuna that Aiya is nothing but trouble. Setsuna tells Hisui to wait as she'll come with him then starts to get up. Hisui tells Setsuna no and if the princess is also a mannequin they'll figure out Aiya's missing and he needs her to stay here and continue being Aiya. Setsuna tries to speak to Hisui. Hisui tells Setsuna that he has her word as he will bring Aiya back here safely. Hisui holds Setsuna's hand. Hisui tells Setsuna to not worry and have faith in him as he calls her 'princess'. Setsuna stares silently at Hisui. At the beach, Aiya is captured by Takonyudo. The servants watch Aiya helplessly as they call out to her. Aiya tells the servants to not just stand there watching and to hurry up and save her. One of the servants tells Aiya that yes of course as they've just called for help. Aiya tells the servants to hurry it up as she can't take this. The servants watch Aiya helplessly as they call out to her. The Hiraikotsu cuts off one of Takonyudo's tentacles off. Hisui appears on Kirara. Aiya tells Hisui that he's the demon slayer as he's late and to hurry up and save her. Hisui notices that Takonyudo grew his tentacle back. Hisui charges at Takonyudo and prepares to use his Hiraikotsu until Takonyudo uses Aiya as a human shield. Hisui tells Kirara to look out she flies away. Aiya asks Hisui what was he doing and to hurry up and save her. Takonyudo starts to drown Aiya underwater for a moment. Aiya tells Takonyudo to curse him and wonders who does he think she is as she's going to shove him into an octopus pot and roast him over a fire and make a boiled octopus out of him. The servants calls out to Aiya. Hisui tells Aiya to not move as she's making it too dangerous for him to attack. Aiya asks Hisui how is she supposed to stay still in this situation. Hisui tells Aiya to let's get behind Takonyudo. Kirara flies behind Takonyudo. Hisui prepares to use his Hiraikotsu until Takonyudo uses Aiya as a human shield again, making him cut off of his tentacles. Aiya tells Hisui to come on and hurry up and save her. Hisui says this is a problem before he notices a barrage of sacred sutras cut off some of Takonyudo's tentacles. Takonyudo becomes angry. Hisui calls out to Kin'u, who is standing nearby. Takonyudo grows his tentacles back when Gyokuto appears and attacks him with scent beads. Gyokuto says it looks like the batch she made today turned out nicely. Hisui questions Gyokuto that she's here too. Gyokuto tells Hisui that she and Kin'u will draw Takonyudo's attention. Kin'u tells Hisui to hurry up and go save Aiya before she laughs. Hisui becomes annoyed and tells Kin'u that honestly this is no laughing matter. Hisui charges at Takonyudo with Kirara and prepares to use his Hiraikotsu when Aiya appears in front of him. Aiya becomes impressed with Hisui. Aiya tells Hisui to do it again. Hisui tells Aiya that he's begging her to stay still as he won't be able to attack. Aiya tells Hisui it's not too often that she gets to see a battle up close and as a participate and to do it again. Gyokuto continues to hit Takonyudo with scent beads. Kin'u continues to hit Takonyudo with sacred sutras. Gyokuto tells Hisui to come on as Aiya is telling him to do it. Kin'u tells Hisui to hurry up and get it over with. Takonyudo curses Kin'u and Gyokuto. Aiya repeatedly says more. Hisui charges at Takonyudo as he dodges his tentacles. Hisui says Takonyudo must have a vital spot. Hisui notices Takonyudo's neck and realizes that it's the vital spot. Hisui charges at Takonyudo with Kirara as he cuts off his tentacles before he attacks the vital spot with his Hiraikotsu, fatally injuring him. Aiya becomes impressed and tells Hisui that he hit Takonyudo as it's magnificent. Takonyudo continues to die. Aiya says this is magnificent before she laughs. Takonyudo releases Aiya as she starts to fall. Aiya notices that Hisui caught her on Kirara. Hisui asks Aiya was she all right. Aiya blushes and tells nervously Hisui that she's fine. Hisui, Aiya, and Kirara watched Takonyudo falls back in the sea as he dies. Hisui tells Aiya that honestly this all happened because she didn't stay home and study. Aiya asks Hisui how does he know about that. Hisui tells Aiya that's because he's her etiquette instructor. Aiya becomes confused and tells Hisui that she heard that a nun was coming today. Kinu'u appears and tells Aiya that Hisui may not look it but her brother can also be a fine nun. Gyokuto appears and tells Aiya that and a beautiful nun just like her and Kin'u too. Hisui becomes annoyed as he calls out to Kn'u and Gyokuto. The servants appeared with the palanquin and tells Aiya that they're glad she's glad. Hisui tells Aiya that now then she should hurry back home. Aiya tells Hisui no as she's not riding the palanquin. Hisui and the servants become confused. Aiya blushes and nervously asks Hisui to come on and can't he tell he see that she wants to go back with him. Kin'u and Gyokuto smirk at each other. Hisui asks Aiya how come. Gyokuto tells Hisui that Aiya has chosen him personally. Kin'u asks Hisui to come on and why doesn't he hurry up and take Aiya. Kin'u and Gyokuto laugh together. Hisui tells Kin'u and Gyokuto that he gets it as Aiya wants to ride Kirara. Hisui tells Aiya to go right ahead. Aiya tells Hisui that's not it but never mind before she gets on Kirara. Hisui tells Aiya to hold on tight. Aiya wraps her arms around Hisui and tells him okay. Hisui tells Kin'u and Gyokuto to see them later. Hisui and Aiya fly away on Kirara. Gyokuto asks Kin'u that Hisui sure has matured. Kin'u tells Gyokuto before they realized it in many ways. Kin'u and Gyokuto laugh together for a moment. Kin'u tells Gyokuto that she'll need to request payment for slaying Takonyudo on top of giving etiquette lessons. The servants ran to the estate while carrying the palanquin. Ogigayatsu Hiiragi angrily tells Aiya that she's getting a severe lecture today and to come with him. Aiya becomes nervous. Ogigayatsu Hiiragi drags Aiya for a severe lecture. Aiya tells Ogigayatsu Hiiragi to forgive her. Hisui and Setsuna watch the scene. Hisui tells Setsuna that Ogigayatsu Hiiragi found out after all.
