Synopsis[]
- Inuyasha and Kagome are reunited and the latter makes the final wish for Shikon Jewel to disappear.

Inuyasha embraces Kagome.
- Although not directly explained, it's obvious that the Shikon Jewel's voice is Naraku himself[1], and the spirits of Demon of the Shikon no Tama and Naraku were destroyed forever by Inuyasha when he cut the point of light in the darkness inside the Jewel with Meidō Zangetsuha, which is the key to kill Naraku and destroy the jewelry's evil. In fact, with Inuyasha's attack at that point, the purity of the Jewel called Naohi annihilates forever the evil corrupting presence within it, then the Jewel's shimmering and voice ended.[2]
- The rest of the Jewel breaks and then disappears when Kagome, with Inuyasha's support, makes the right wish for it to be taken out of existence.
