Sorry for all the posts, but I'm just watching through all of it for the first time and sometimes there's things I don't understand.

So, in the second episode of The Final Act, it's said that the only way to kill Naraku is to purify his soul by shooting the corrupted Shikon Jewel inside him with a Sacred Arrow, which Kagome does in the penultimate episode.

However, it's also been said that if Naraku's heart is destroyed, he dies. Like, when Naraku's heart is the Infant, if the Infant is destroyed (by any means other than being absorbed by Naraku), then Naraku dies.

So, does that mean there are two ways to kill him? What would have happened if a.) The Infant was, say, sucked into Miroku's Wind Tunnel, or b.) Naraku's soul was purified when the Infant was still separated from him? KillRoy231 (talk) 06:10, February 22, 2017 (UTC)
