Tsukumo no Gamajirō (九十九の蝦蟇次郎,[1] つくものがまじろう, "Second Youth Toad of Ninety-ninth") (Sometimes referred to as Gama for short) was a toad demon who worked for Orochidayū.
History[]
During the story[]
Gamajirō was asked to assist the bull demon Gyu-Oh in creating a copy of the Shikon no Tama. To accomplish this, Gamajirō imprisoned humans that Orochidayū captured into a frog egg-like substance. He waits till the souls are then suitable for eating. The toad demon becomes so hungry when looking at the "delicious" humans' souls that Orochidayū has to constantly remind him not to eat them.
When Inuyasha and his friends intervene with the demons' plans, Gamajirō enters the battle after Inuyasha kills Orochidayū. When ordered by Gyu-Oh to attack the half-breed, Gamajirō is killed along with all the other yōkai by Inuyasha's Kaze no Kizu.
