Hōsenki's Den was where Hōsenki I lived before he died. His son then took over living there. They lived in a giant shell that was situated in the middle a lake that was surrounded by trees and mountains.

Manga vs. anime

• In the manga, Inuyasha and his friends were able to reach Hōsenki's den with no trouble. In the anime, they have to go up a cliff in order to reach it.

Trivia

• In the video game Secret of the Divine Jewel, the player can visit Hōsenki's den, and provide him with rare minerals. He turns them into amulets with special abilities and the player is able to buy them from him.
