Hayate (疾風（はやて）, "Gale") is an original game character from InuYasha: Kagome no Sengoku Nikki. He role-played as the leader of weasel demon clan and also as a rival for Inuyasha who also interested in Kagome. His appellation is Hayate the Weasel Demon.
