Hijin Kessō (じんけっそう, Blades of Blood, "Flying Blade Blood Claws") was one of Inuyasha's attacks. By drenching his claws in his own blood, Inuyasha could use his Hijin Kessō to charge the blood with yōki and sling it like a barrage of crescent-shaped blades. While he typically used blood from an already open wound, Inuyasha could draw the necessary blood to use the attack by digging his nails into his palms. He would often use this tactic as a surprise counterattack after being wounded, when his opponents would assume he was weakened by his wounds and lower their guard.[1]

Moroha is able to use this attack with or without accessing to full demonic power.

Trivia[]

  • In the video game Secret of the Divine Jewel, using this attack will lower Inuyasha's HP.
  • In the Latin American dub, this attack was renamed “Garras de fuego” (“fire claws”) due to the censorship applied by distributor Televix. The animation is slowed down and cut to prevent showing the moment Inuyasha drenches his claws in his own blood.
