Hiyoshimaru (
History[]
Kagome was bathing in a lake near Kaede's village, and Hiyoshimaru was ordered by his master to steal their belongings, Inuyasha and Kagome quickly followed Hiyoshimaru. Nobunaga received the Kagome's belonging, realizing that it was strange female clothing. After introducing and clarify the misunderstanding, Kagome gives food to Nobunaga and Hiyoshimaru (which they both eat and appreciate the same way). When Nobunaga fell into a canyon, Hiyoshimaru remained asserted and did not fall. Later when Nobunaga was reunited with princess Tsuyu and she recognized him, Hiyoshimaru started doing pirouettes on the head of his master.
After they rescued the Princess, Nobunaga and Hiyoshimaru parted ways with Inuyasha and Kagome. Immediately after, Nobunaga once again fell into the same canyon.
Personality[]
Hiyoshimaru is very sympathetic, hyper and playful, often moving while the other characters speak. He has little respect for his master, but he is very loyal. He sometimes seems to be more intelligent and cunning than Nobunaga. Hiyoshimaru is frequent at coping and Nobunaga's attitude and reflects his emotions like anger, disappointment or pride.
Physical description[]
Hiyoshimaru is a small albino colored monkey.
Trivia[]
- Hiyoshimaru was the childhood name of the Japanese daimyō Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who succeeded the lord Oda Nobunaga and brought the Sengoku era to an end.
- Hiyoshimaru's name is not revealed in English dub of the anime.
- His name in the English manga is spelled "Hiyashimaru".
