"I am" is the second opening theme from the InuYasha anime, performed by Hitomi. Korean singer Sooyoung (who later became a member of Girls' Generation) did a cover this song for the Korean dub of the series.

The Shikon no Tama appears in the background and Kagome appears next, then Miroku, Sango and Shippō, and Inuyasha. Inuyasha on the cliff, four cards of he unleash the sword Tessaiga and engaged, and his face turned. The pink spark the Shikon Jewel came and flash. It goes to the sky down to the mountains. Kagome and Shippō running, it switches to her friends watching the rain. As Kagome glances up towards the sky, it switches to a cameo of Rin running in circles around Jaken, as Sesshomaru sits near A-Un in the background. Afterwards, it switches to Naraku taking off his baboon hide and mask, with the Shikon no Tama in his hand. Kagura and Kanna appear as it zooms out to show the three of them together, with the Saimyosho in the background and Kohaku hidden behind Naraku. It cuts to Kikyo with a solemn expression as fire burns in the background, referencing when her body was burned along with the Shikon no Tama in Episode 1. As the chorus starts, it cuts to Inuyasha trying to slice Koga multiple times with the Tessaiga as he dodges. Inuyasha and Kagome then stand back to back, staring at each other. The scene changes to Kagome and Shippo on the roots of the Sacred Tree, while Inuyasha sits on the ground thinking. The scene then cuts to a dark, gloomy sky for the background, as Kagome shoots a sacred arrow across the ocean, creating a path between the waves. Kagome then runs up towards the ocean, chasing away a flock of seagulls and waves to her friends. The rest of the group smiles back at her in response. Multiple seagulls fly over the ocean as Inuyasha's group walk up towards the water, as the cameo moves up towards the sky.
