The InuYasha Wiki's User image policy is as follows:

  1. Users must meet the requirements of InuYasha Wiki:Single-issue voters to earn and maintain user image privileges.
  2. No more than 3 images should be uploaded which are intended solely for a userpage or customized signature. This excludes non-transcluded user images used in signatures uploaded prior to May 18, 2014.
  3. Uploaded user avatar images are not considered user images. However, each user is limited to one. This does not include reuploads of new versions of the same image.
  4. User images must be tagged with the {{user-image}} template.
  5. The total filesize of these images must be below 500 kB. It is strongly suggested that none of these images are larger than 100 kB.
  6. Images being used on actual articles as well as a user's page are not counted towards the limit of three. However, the general user page policy must be followed, and it must also be recognized that a user page is not meant to be a user's main focus on the InuYasha Wiki.
  7. Images being used on officially approved, shared userboxes do not count towards these limits.
  8. Images must be "safe for work": no nudity, excessive gore, or other content which is unsuitable for a family audience, or would be likely to disturb or offend other users.
  9. Users with no contributions to the main namespace for more than 12 months are considered inactive and lose their privileges in regards to user images.
  10. Hiding data on the InuYasha Wiki is strictly forbidden. The InuYasha Wiki may not be used to transfer any data covertly. Attempts to use the InuYasha Wiki for this purpose, including but not limited to steganographic embedding within image files will be penalized with an immediate permanent block from editing. Detection and determination of such attempts is at the discretion of the administration, and the administrator who discovers the data trafficking attempt has final blocking authority.
  11. Hotlinking images uploaded from the InuYasha Wiki on external sites for personal use is prohibited. Non-article images found to be hotlinked in such a way are subject to immediate deletion. This does not prohibit the hotlinking of images which are used in the content namespace for discussion or research purposes. If an image in the content namespace is found to be hotlinked for personal use, it may be moved to a new location without notice.
