Juan (寿庵) is a former monk and ancestor of a singer called Julian whom Mei idolizes.

History[]

Juan was a normal and ordinary monk who went to an Ancient Temple, where he was possessed by the spirit of the demonic cat that was buried under the building after the monk performed a ceremony for the rest of his soul.

While acting in a normal way, he welcomed travelers to the temple and let the colony of demonic cats that had settled in the temple attack them when it was night.

When Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha visited the temple in search of information, they spend the night there with the intention of attacking them after dark. At night, the demonic cats attacked the Half-Demon Princesses and after defeating them, Towa stayed behind to protect Juan from the cats.

Setsuna and Moroha found the Demon Cat's skeleton and began to fight. After struggling a bit Towa realized that she had to save Juan from possession without killing him. He achieved this by absorbing the demonic energy with his sword Kikujūmonji.

Finally, after thanking the Half-Demon Princesses for their work, Juan left the job and returned to his previous life.
