Kagewaki's castle (蔭刀の城, "Kagewaki no shiro") was once owned by the Kagewaki family and later by Naraku, who would lured Sango's family and killing them.[1] All of the human inhabitants of the castle were killed off to do to the presence of miasma, as the castle was later abandoned following a confrontation between Naraku, Inuyasha, and Sesshōmaru. Later, Kikyō arrives the castle as she wonders who destroyed the barrier.[2] The wolf yōkais Kōga, Ginta, and Hakkaku came and investigate the castle until they left to find Inuyasha as the Shikon no Tama shards calls to the Hair monster until later as Ayame came to the place as she finds it gives her the creeps.[3]
