Kagewaki's castle (蔭刀の城, "Kagewaki no shiro") was once owned by the Kagewaki family and now by Naraku, who lured Sango's family and killed them.[1] All of the human inhabitants of the castle were killed do to the presence of miasma. The castle was later abandoned following a confrontation between Naraku, Inuyasha, and Sesshōmaru. Later, Kikyō arrives the castle as she wonders who destroyed the barrier.[2] The wolf yōkais Kōga, Ginta and Hakkaku came and investigate the castle until they left to find Inuyasha as the Shikon no Tama shards calls to the Hair monster until Ayame came to the place that it gives her the creeps.[3]
