Light Whip (光の鞭, Hikari no Muchi, "Whip of Light") is a thin, whip-like strand of energy emanating from someone's fingertips primarily used as an attack. Sesshōmaru is the most notable wielder of the light whip.
Usage[]
The user, such as Sesshōmaru, emanates a thin strand of light and then controls it like a whip. The light whip can puncture armor and burn flesh upon contact, similar to his Dokkasō. Although mainly used to attack, pierce, or disarm an opponent, the whip can also hold onto objects as demonstrated when Sesshōmaru used his light whip to save Kohaku from being sucked further into the Underworld.[1]
Physical Description[]
It is a thin, whip-like strand of demon energy. Sesshōmaru and Setsuna's light whips are yellow-green. Kaguya's light whip in the second movie was pink. Kyūki was purple.
