Mr. Higurashi was the late son of Grandpa and the late Grandma Higurashi, husband of Ms. Higurashi, father of Kagome and Sōta, posthumous father-in-law to Inuyasha, and grandfather of Moroha and Mei.
History[]
He proposed to Ms. Higurashi by the Sacred Tree after they had a fight.[1] He took his wife to Sōgō hospital where he had a first child was born named Kagome.[2] He died in a car accident in 1985, when Kagome was four-year-old, and the rest of the family moved to Higurashi shrine after his death.[3][4]
