This article is about the location of the cave of Onigumo that leads to the birth of Naraku. You may be looking for Onigumo's cave near Kaede's village.
Naraku's cave (奈落の洞, "Hell no hora") is a new place that makes Shikon Jewel defiled completely and even a full fledged spider demon.
History[]
As Byakuya retreat to the cave, he saw something darker that Naraku defile the Shikon no Tama to eliminate the light of Midoriko, in which Magatsuhi have been unleashed.
Byakuya thinks that Magatsuhi is never coming back, but Naraku refuse that he won't come back because he has an idea for him, making a division that leads in episode 186.
As the Shikon Jewel has been whole and been defiled, Naraku had become full power to unleash the miasma.
