Oyster yōkai

Oyster yōkai (牡蠣妖怪, "Kaki yōkai") were at least twice the size of a human. They live in the den.

Abilities

They have the power to make jewels. After Tōga fought with Izayoi's old guardsman the samurai Takemaru of Setsuna at Izayoi's mansion for his last battle and death, Hōsenki I created the Black Pearl from Izayoi's tears and placed it in their son's right eye.

• Oyster yōkais are most likely based on Sazae-oni, a tyoe of shellfish yōkai.
