The Sea God was a giant turtle deity. He resided in New Moon Cave. His Kamuitama had been stolen by the cat yōkai Sara while he was asleep. He awoke after Sara was destroyed by Sesshōmaru and Janis in his cave. He was able to exist in the mortal world due to yorishiro in the form of red coral. He was previously aquatinted with Tōga, and has known Sesshōmaru since he was young.
