Shōgen Mamiana (狸穴将監) is the head elder of Mamidaira clan until he was defeated by Moroha and Takechiyo.
History[]
Following the death of the previous lord, he attempted to seize control of the castle and corrupted the Full Moon Raccoon Dog. Little did he expect during the funeral of the previous lord that Miroku with his wife Sango and his friends Inuyasha and Kagome have come to stop him. He got hit by Inuyasha's Kaze no Kizu, and distract Miroku and Hachiemon with Women of White Mist, but it was destroyed by Miroku's shakujō, as Miroku uses his Sacred sutras to disposes the corrupted spirit but he fled. After Kagome develop the new technique for the Sealing Arrow: the Tenkū no Yabusuma to seal the Full Moon Raccoon Dog, he was angry as he retreated.
Three years later that night, as the storm came, the lightning hit the tower and the painting got out of the powerful sealing as the Shōgen has returned and retrieved the Full Moon Raccoon Dog. So he kidnapped the young Kikunosuke except for Takechiyo that Hachi is protecting.
