Shishinki's assistant (死神鬼の使い) was a yōkai that lured Sesshōmaru to battle his master Shishinki.
History[]

This individual approached Sesshōmaru under the pretense that he knew why the Tenseiga was unable to fully master the technique Meidō Zangetsuha and that he could help him. As he lead Sesshōmaru's group to a rocky terrain, Jaken inquired to Sesshōmaru if he had met him before. Sesshōmaru claimed that he had not. He disappeared soon after, and Sesshōmaru's group was soon attacked by a fully formed Meidō. The assistant then appeared right beside Shishinki. He was killed by Sesshōmaru's Dokkasō that was originally intended for Shishinki.
Physical description[]
Shishinki's assistant appeared as a young male with short black hair that reached up to his neck. A notable feature was that the sclera of his eyes were completely black, and they had no iris, resembling the voids his master creates with his Meidō Zangetsuha technique. He wore a light blue kimono.
Powers nd aabilities[]
- Teleportation: He was able to appear instantly in front of Sesshōmaru without him sensing him and when he was leading them to Shishinki he instantly disappeared despite the fact both Kohaku and Sesshōmaru were directly watching his every move and he reappeared on top of a mountain beside Shishinki.
- Flight: He was shown hovering above his master after they both dodged Sesshōmaru's first attack.[Note 1]
Manga vs. anime[]
- In the anime, Shishinki's assistant was killed when Sesshōmaru first attacked with his Dokkasō. In the manga, Shishinki's assistant was seen flying after Sesshōmaru first attacked. What happened to him afterwards is unknown.
