Content change[]

What happened to this page ? almost everything was deleted...Kyora is the only one of the four that has complete information

This article's former content was deleted to make way for a major revision. It is currently a work in progress.--Suzaku 朱雀Maze Castle 02:48, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
Hmm,got it. And are you thinking about editing more information in Goura and Jura's pages either ?

Simplified kanji[]

It should be used in InuYasha series because the whole title credits are using simplified kanji, the old/traditional kanji was not been used at 1950s. 珊瑚留言 03:24, December 18, 2012 (UTC)

Well, to be fair, this series does take place in the 15th century. So it would make sense to use the traditional kanji set. In addition to the Japanese Wikipedia, there's also this photo of what I believe was promotional material for the movie. In this case as well, the traditional kanji for dragon is used.--Suzaku 朱雀Maze Castle 03:34, December 18, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, that photo is a promotional materials for movie. How strange, I realise that the tile episodes of the Final Act are using simplified kanji, whereas this one is original kanji. Kinda tricky... :\ -the real Chinese word- 珊瑚留言 03:37, December 18, 2012 (UTC)

Oh yes, if Ryura's name was used in old kanji form, then what about Miroku's kanji name? His name (弥勒) is in simplified kanji, but not in old kanji (彌勒). 珊瑚留言 06:35, December 18, 2012 (UTC)
Well, I don't know what to tell you. It's an anomaly, I guess.--Suzaku 朱雀Maze Castle 18:20, December 18, 2012 (UTC)

Lemme think awhile...Although I'm a user of Simplified Chinese, but the place that I live is in Malaysia. Yesterday I found that our Chinese newspaper's titles/subtitles are in Traditional Chinese, but the content is in Simplified Chinese. That's why I'm able to understand two kinds of characters, even thought my country started to use Simplified characters at 1980s. Perhaps same things happened on the promotional materials from Japan. I feel China used Simplified Chinese completely after the government set up such policy. 珊瑚留言 03:36, December 19, 2012 (UTC)
