When They Stop Appearing[]

I've been watching The Final Act over and over, and I'm positive that the Saimyosho stopped appearing after Kanna died  Byakuya could teleport away if he was in danger, but it would seem Kanna could not; it would amke sense the Saimyosho would accompany her because of this. However, it could also be due to the severe miasma-poisoning Naraku caused Miroku that made sending the insects out pointless. (173.167.179.77 15:32, June 18, 2013 (UTC))

Yes, after Kanna's death, Naraku no longer has anyone he needs to protect. Byakuya, as you say, has his own means of avoiding the Wind Tunnel, even though he never confronts Miroku anyway, and Naraku seems to rely almost exclusively on his own miasma to get away from the Wind Tunnel in the Final Act. Magatsuhi is immortal and so has no need to fear the Wind Tunnel and his own miasma is too strong for Miroku.--Suzaku 朱雀Maze Castle 15:44, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

What are the Saimyōshō and why are they loyal to Naraku only?[]

Hello. I've got a question about Naraku's helpers, the Saimyōshō. It is clear that are demonic, poisonous insects. However, what are they actually are tho? Are they simply an own demon race or did Naraku create them out of his own flesh, like he did with his incarnations? What makes me wonder about it in first place is that the Saimyōshō are only absolutely loyal to Naraku himself and he's the only character (his incarnations and allies left aside here) who uses Saimyōshō. If they are an own race then I couldn't really come up with a good a explanation why they just only see/accept Naraku as their Master. Maybe because of his Misama? Because they're poisonous insects so.. Or are they just creatures made by Naraku himself as his personal supporters. I'm lost here. I wonder if anybody could help me out on that matter. Well, it was not mentioned in both anime and manga, as well as the profile book. Or did the author explained that somewhere in a magazine or some other books? TsukiYaksha月夜叉 Forest Spirit of the Moon 14:09, August 11, 2017 (UTC)
