This human was a wondering priest who's body was being controlled by Kagura.
History[]
Inuyasha and his friends came across a village that was ravaged by a swarm of yōkai after the destruction of Mount Hakurei. As they were digging graves for all the villagers, the priest appeared and offered his help. He explained to Inuyasha's group that he came from the direction of Mount Hakurei and has been on a pilgrimage throughout the land. He said that he heard from a miko that Mount Hakurei was destroyed and that an evil aura was traveling south. This immediately got the attention of Inuyasha as he thought that he was referring to Kikyō. He said that the miko had washed up on the riverbank near a village on the other side of Mount Hakurei two days ago. He claimed that she said that she was injured by Naraku and that she had to go after him. Everyone knew that he was talking about Kikyō. The priest expressed his doubts that she was still alive due to the injuries she sustained. Inuyasha wanted to go search for Kikyō, but he initially hesitated. Kagome told him to go and find her.
Kagome was soon captured by the Infant while controlling a noble woman. When Kagome was brought to the woman's chambers, she saw the priest that told them about Kikyō. His body then collapsed and began to foam. It was revealed that his body was being controlled by Kagura's Dance of the Dead to separate Inuyasha from the rest of the group while they would capture Kagome.
